The London Loop section runs along the north-western part of the Barnet Loop, between Barnet Way / A1 and Alan Drive. It follows the course of the Dollis Brook along some sections of greenways.

This section is mostly off-road and generally mirrors the route of the existing walking path of the London Loop. The majority of this alignment is a dirt track along fields which experiences flooding and poor drainage during periods of prolonged rainfall. There is a short on-road section along Hendon Wood Lane with high traffic speeds.

    We will assess the feasibility of resurfacing the paths along the A1 and explore options for different alignments

    We will investigate widening the footway and consider alternative measures to segregate cyclists and pedestrians
