The Hendon section extends between Brent Street / A502 and Goldsmiths Avenue.

It goes across Hendon Park, Hendon Way / A41, West Hendon Broadway / The Hyde / A5. This section roughly corresponds to the Hendon urban centre, which is largely on-road, through residential streets, but also routed through parks via bridges and underpasses.

The current alignment requires cyclists to share the road with traffic for the majority of this section. The section of the route offers better interchange and access to the transport network, but traffic volumes are high.
