We recognise how important the first years of life are in laying down the foundations of future health and wellbeing, and we continuously trying to improve this service as a result.

As part of delivering the Healthy Child Programme, the council 's Public Health and Family Services commissions Home-Start Barnet to deliver Health Coaching services in the London borough of Barnet.

Health Coaches play an important role in contributing to the Healthy Child Programme (an early intervention and prevention public health programme) for all children aged 0-5. Further details can be found on the Government website

As the Health Coaching service is at the start of a renewed contract with Home-Start, we would like to ask families who use the service their experiences of the Health Coaching service and any suggestions for future service delivery. In particular, we want to know what users like and dislike about the Health Coaching service? How can we improve the service?

Health visitors, school nurses and family nurses are encouraging families who use the service to give their feedback by completing our online questionnaire. Health providers who refer families to Home Start Barnet are also being sent a a separate questionnaire so they can give their feedback on the service.
