Barnet Loop - Edgware

The Edgware section of the Barnet Loop extends between Station Road and Penhurst Gardens Roundabout to Barnet Way/A1.

It provides a route along the residential streets of Edgware to avoid arterial roads like Edgware Way/A41 and the M1 further north. This section goes through Stoneyfields Park and as connected by a number of bridges and underpasses.

As part of the design development, we will consider safe crossing points to address how pedestrians and cyclists interact with traffic and lighting to improve personal safety. The current alignment requires cyclists to share the carriageway with traffic for the majority of the on-road section.
