This section has already been completed.

The Colindale to West Hendon Playing Fields section runs between Colindale Avenue and West Hendon Playing Fields.

It runs along Rushgrove Park, connecting Hendon to Colindale town centre. This section links outlying residential areas to the Colindale urban centre, which is largely on-road, through residential streets, but does also contain parks, bridges and underpasses.

The current alignment requires cyclists to share the road with traffic, but the route has higher accessibility to the wider transport network.
