What's on for Black History Month 1 - 31 October 2023

Black History Month (BHM) is a month dedicated to celebrating communities and culture all around the world. This year's theme of ‘Celebrating our Sisters’ highlights the crucial role that black women have played in shaping history, inspiring change, and building communities.

This year Barnet Council will be marking Black History Month with a number of Community Events funded through our Community Events fund.

As part of the BHM celebrations this year, Barnet 0-19 Early Help Service will be putting on a series of events including a Black History Month Showcase at Canada Villa Youth Centre.
