Overview
We are seeking your views on North Central London’s Sustainability and Transformation Plan (NCL STP).
In December 2015, the NHS shared planning guidance 16/17 – 20/21 outlined a new approach to help ensure that health and care services are built around the needs of local populations. Every health and care system (including the CCG, council and providers) has been working together to produce a multi-year Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP), showing how local services will evolve and become sustainable over the next five years – ultimately delivering the Five Year Forward View vision.
Local health and care systems have come together in STP areas with Barnet included in the North Central London sub-regional area. The health and care organisations within these geographic footprints will work together to narrow the gaps in the quality of care, their population’s health and wellbeing, and in NHS finances.
The draft plans were submitted to NHS England on the 21 October 2016 and we are seeking your views.
The full draft NCL STP is available here. We have also provided a summary version of the document here.
We want to know what residents and interested parties think of these plans at this draft stage and, in particular, of the following key parts:
We want to hear from you about these issues and about anything else that is important to you within this plan.
We will feed your views back to the team who will produce the final published version of the plan.
The consultation report will go to the Health and Wellbeing Board and Policy and Resources Committee.
