Overview
The council is currently conducting a face-to-face Young People's Perception Survey with a sample of 500 young residents, aged 11-18 from across the borough. The council and its partners want to know how young people feel about their local area, and how their views compare to the adult survey. Going forward the survey will be administered once a year so that we can monitor our performance and make improvements in order to continue to deliver excellent services.

The council has commissioned Opinion Research Services (ORS), an independent social research company, to conduct the interviews for this survey. To ensure a cross section of Barnet's young people is represented, ORS set quotas on age, gender and ethnicity. The interviews will be taking place at various locations across the borough from 2 November to 31 December 2021.
Parental permission is being asked of those children under 16 years old.
