Overview
The council is currently developing proposals for the regeneration of several sites within the Hendon area. More information about the Hendon Hub scheme can be found here.
As part of the development a new state of the art library is proposed which provides an opportunity to enhance and extend the library services provided in Hendon.
Give us your views
We are now asking residents and library users to for their views help inform the internal design of the proposed new library. Please tell us what you would like to see provided in the new building by completing our online questionnaire.

Virtual briefings:
Further consultation and engagement resident and key stakeholder briefings on the proposed plans.
So far the project team have held four virtual presentations on the Hendon Hub proposals, where the draft plans have been explained and people have been able to ask questions and provide feedback. Further events will be held in May 2021, the details of which you can find below:
Due to COVID-19 restrictions we have not been able to organise meetings in person so far. We hope to be able to meet in small groups to discuss the proposals towards the end of May, assuming the easing of restrictions continues.
If you would be interested in an in-person meeting please contact us using the details shown above to discuss.
*Social distancing restrictions and limits on the number of people still remain in place. We will try to facilitate as many people attending as we can in a safe manner. It is possible restrictions or a delay in the lifting of them may prevent us from holding these events.
