Review of the experimental changes to the North Finchley Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) – Solar House
This consultation has now closed.
Overview
Following the relocation of St Barnabas Church to Solar House at 915 High Road, Finchley, N12 in 2018, the council's January 2019 Environment Committee (item 10), approved the introduction of an experimental Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) to help prevent congestion and obstructive parking experienced by the church. The committee also agreed further measures to help ease parking problems experienced by the church.
We are now consulting with local residents and businesses to help determine if the experimental changes have been successful, if they should be made permanent and if any further modifications are required.
You can view a plan showing the extent of the proposal here, and a detailed list of the measures introduced here.
How to give your views
We are particularly keen to hear the views from local residents, business and organisations:
- Properties in Highwood Avenue, Limes Avenue and Frederick’s Place
If your home, business or organisation is situated in one of the above roads, then please give your views by completing this online questionnaire.
- Properties within the ‘FN’ CPZ that do not include Highwood Avenue, Limes Avenue and Frederick’s Place.
If your home, business or organisation is situated within the ‘FN’ CPZ but not within Highwood Avenue, Limes Avenue or Frederick’s Place, then please give your views by completing this online questionnaire.
If you are unable to complete the questionnaire online but would still like your view to be included, please email: parking.consultations@barnet.gov.uk or telephone the Traffic and Development Section on 020 8359 3555 and one of our team will assist you.
All properties within the consultation zone have also been sent a letter inviting them to complete a questionnaire relevant to their area. If your home or business is situated within the consultation zone and have not received a letter please email us or write to us, using the contact details above.
Please ensure you have completed your online questionnaire by 14 September 2020. We are asking each household to complete only one questionnaire, so please ensure that the views given are representative of your household.
All responses will be analysed and will help us determine the action, if any, which needs to be taken to address areas of concern.
