New Southgate area is earmarked as an opportunity area in the Mayor’s London Plan 2021. This designation means it has the potential for new homes, jobs, and major public space improvements. To work cohesively, Enfield Council and Barnet Council are coming together to understand what is good and what needs to change in the area. Our first step is coming to talk to the community to get their perspective on this. We are interested in hearing about it all – parks, community facilities
