Nominations for the 2024/25 InspirationAll, Celebrating Barnet's Women and Girls Awards
These awards seek to recognise the inspiring work and accomplishments of women in Barnet. Do you know a woman or girl in Barnet who is making a difference in our community? You can nominate a women or girl by completing ournomination form.Nominations are open and close on Friday 9 May 2025.
Barnet Council is committed to being fair, inclusive and to creating a place where all belong. We want our awards to reflect the diversity of inspirational women and girls in the borough. We particularly welcome nominations of disabled women and girls (in any category), as they have previously been under-represented.
The 2025 categories are:
Community and Culture Recognising those women whose contribution to society make a substantial difference to the lives of others. Whether it's within Arts, Care or Social Care, Faith or the Voluntary Sector. This list is not exhaustive.
Business and Construction Recognising those women who take that leap of faith and develop businesses which benefit the economy.
Sport and Wellbeing Recognising those women who have worked towards the bettering of women's health, women who have made a substantial contribution to sport, pushing boundaries for women and girls in sport.
Environment and Sustainability Recognising those women who are making a positive impact on all our lives. Whether it’s environmental, digital or educational transformation or through the circular economy or supply chain transparency. The list is not exhaustive.
Inspiring Young Woman Recognising those young women whose examples serve to inspire our next generation. (This Award is only open to those aged between 16–25 years).
