#HearMyVoice ‘24 is a Middlesex University initiative with Barnet Council to shine a spotlight on often normalised, subtle and everyday forms of misogyny and violence against women and girls to help shift attitudes, values and behaviours and change the culture.

What's on


EXHIBITION (16-23 May)

A week-long showcasing of student project work, including film, animation and graphics. The exhibition, which tackles everyday forms of misogyny such as banter and street harassment. The exhibition is open to members of the public

COMMUNITY PARTNERS FORUM (21 May)

Members of the public are invited to Middlesex University to visit stalls hosted by various specialist support organisations and learn about the different services and support available in Barnet.

Time: 12pm-2pm

Location: The Quad, Middlesex University, The Burroughs, London, NW4 4BT

WALK IN THE PARK (22 May)

Come along and join a participatory performance to explore women and girls experiences of walking alone at night. Starting at the University and moving to Sunny Hill Park. Attendees will be invited to share their stories of walking home at night and let their voice be heard in calls for greater safety on our streets.

Time: Starts at 7.30pm


Location: Grove Atrium, Middlesex University, The Burroughs, London, NW4 4BT then onto Sunny Hill Park, Watford Wy, London NW4 1JE
