Cancer awareness survey

Overview

The Public Health Team at Barnet Council, together with Barnet’s Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and our other partners, want to improve public awareness of cancer and in particular how to detect cancer symptoms early.

Uptake of screening programmes can help spot cancer even before symptoms appear. Early detection of cancer also means treatment is more likely to be successful.

To help us understand where we need to focus our communications we are inviting Barnet residents to complete a survey on how much they know about potential cancer symptoms.

We will use the findings to help inform the way we communicate with residents in the future to ensure you are better informed about what symptoms to look out for and how to reduce the risk of cancer.
