We are consulting on our proposed schedule of fees and charges for Building Control, to be implemented from April 2024. Where fees have increased, they have increased by 6.8%, in line with inflation (July 2023).

We want to give residents and businesses the opportunity to have their say on our proposed fees and charges before they are finalised.

What happens after the consultation closes?

The findings from the consultation will be reported to and considered by the portfolio holder (Cabinet Member) for Effective Council and Resources. The Fees and Charges Schedule 2024 will be implemented from 1 April 2024.
