Bittacy Hill Park – play equipment consultation

Overview

Barnet has a great collection of parks and open spaces, and these are an important part of what makes Barnet a green and family friendly borough.

The council has agreed to allocate £120,000 to improve and refurbish the playground facility in Bittacy Hill Park, Mill Hill.

What are we seeking your views on?

We would like to know what you think about the proposed play equipment at Bittacy Hill Park and the location of this equipment. You can view the proposed playground layout and the individual pieces of proposed equipment in 2D and in 3D.

How can you give us your views?

We will also be running two pop-up events, so you can look at the proposals. Council staff will be on hand to discuss the plans and answer any questions you may have. The pop-up events will take place at Bittacy Hill Park Playground, Sanders Lane, Mill Hill, NW7 on the following dates:

• Saturday 23 September 2023 from 10:30am to 12:30pm
• Tuesday 24 October 2023 from 10:30am to 12:30pm

What happens next?

We will review the feedback to see if there is any interest in changing the play facilities and we will make any amendments to the plans where possible and within the budget allocated. The council will then agree the final plans with the play contractor, including the location of the equipment and the play contractor will be commissioned to carry out the work. The improvement work to the playground is likely take place in late 2023.
