In the summer we asked for your views on Barnet First to help us to improve the magazine and ensure it provides the right mix of content for as many residents as possible. We thank those of you who took the time to complete our online questionnaire.
We are now inviting residents to some focus groups to explore your thoughts in detail on the future of Barnet First magazine. We will be looking at everything from design, frequency and format to readability and the type of content we include. Our aim is to improve the magazine and ensure it provides the right mix of content for as many of our residents as possible, and we would like your help to achieve this.
Even if you have not seen or read Barnet First we still welcome your views, we will be showing you previous examples of the Barnet First magazine at the focus groups.
Focus Groups venue and dates
The focus groups will take place at Finchley Church End Library, on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 February between 6.00pm and 7.30pm. If you take part, you'll only need to attend one of the sessions. As a thank you of your time and participation you will receive £30.00 Love to Shop gift vouchers.
How to register
Please take the time to register by completing our registration form to attend one of our focus groups.
Please note we want to ensure that those selected for the focus group are a representative mix of members that reflect the wider diversity of the borough. If we get oversubscribed and you are not selected to join a focus group at this time, we would welcome your involvement in future engagement about the Barnet First magazine.
We will let you know by 10 February 2023 if you have been allocated a place and send further details of the focus groups.
What happens after the focus groups
We will use your feedback to look at the furfure design of the Barnet First, and we will publish how we have used what you have told us and next steps on this page.
