National Apprenticeship Week 2022

The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2022 is 'build the future' and in Barnet there are opportunities all across the borough helping people work towards a rewarding career, and businesses to develop a talented workforce ready for the future.

Barnet Council alone employs apprentices in its schools, social care services, gardening and grounds work teams, street cleaning and rubbish collection departments, and back-office roles. It is prioritising working with employers across all sectors to encourage greater use of apprenticeships, internships and other entry points to work at all levels.
