Consultation has concluded

Overview

Over the past few months London Fire Brigade has worked with Londoners to create a draft Community Risk Management Plan.

It's called Your London Fire Brigade. This plan meets the brigade's requirement under the Fire and Rescue national framework for England to produce an Integrated Risk Management Plan. One of the most important things this plan must do is reflect the organisation's Assessment of Risk in London and what it will do to help reduce and respond to that risk.

It’s a plan that explains how London Fire Brigade will better engage, protect, learn from, and represent London’s communities

Why your views matter?

London Fire Brigade is undergoing considerable change. This plan is important because it’s the first since the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower on 14 June 2017 where 72 people died. As a result of that fire, London Fire Brigade received specific recommendations from both the Grenfell Tower Inquiry (GTI) and Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) about how we needed to improve

Since then, London Fire Brigade has been committed to doing everything it can to learn the lessons from that tragedy and address those areas for improvement, but the brigade knows there’s still more to do.

Ultimately, as people who live and work in London – it’s your concerns London Fire Brigade needs to understand and your expectations that it needs to meet, so have your say now.
