The council has commissioned Opinion Research Services (ORS), an independent social research company, to conduct the interviews for this survey. To ensure a cross section of Barnet's young people is represented, ORS set quotas on age, gender and ethnicity. The interviews will be taking place in schools or at various locations across the borough from 11 December 2023 to 5 March 2024.

Parental permission is being asked of those children under 16 years old.

Why we are conducting this survey

The council and its partners want to know how you feel about your local area and how you feel we are doing in delivering local services. The survey is administered every two years so that we can monitor our performance and make improvements in order to continue to deliver excellent services.
