Substance Misuse Services consultation

If you, a friend, or family member are having problems with alcohol or drugs you can talk to someone at Barnet’s adult or young people's substance misuse services.

Barnet residents can access a full range of services, from advice through to structured treatment programmes and residential treatment if necessary. Support is available for young people and adults, along with their families and carers.

London Borough of Barnet has commissioned Change Grow Live Drug and Alcohol Service to provide the current adults and young people’s substance misuse treatment services for Barnet residents who are having problems with alcohol or drugs service.

What are we seeking your views on?

The current contract is due to end in March 2025. To help us commission a new service, we would like to hear from service users, their family and friends, and professionals for their opinion about our current service and how the service can meet their needs.

What happens after the consultation closes?

The council will use the consultation findings to improve the current service provision. We will publish the results of the consultation, our decision and how we are acting on the results of the consultation on this web page in April 2023.
