WE ASKED, YOU SAID, WE DID

We asked: We asked for your comments on our draft Selection Criteria for the borough’s Local List. We wanted to give residents, businesses and other key stakeholders the opportunity to comment on the draft criteria so we can ensure it is appropriate and meets the needs of the borough.

You said: Apart from a few minor text changes, the feedback was extremely positive, indicating the proposed selection criteria was in line with best practice as set out in Historic England’s ‘Local Heritage Listing: Historic England Advice Note 7(External link)’ which was issued last year.

We did: We incorporated the few minor amendments into the criteria and the new selection criteria was officially adopted by the Council on the 4^th May 2017.
