The Commission has considered all the submissions it received from this stage of the review and has now drawn up draft recommendations for the new electoral arrangements in Barnet Council. The independent Local Boundary Commission for England are now asking for your views on this draft. For more information please click here.

Local people know their area best. That’s why the Commission are asking local residents to give their views on a range of issues to help shape the review. The Commission wants to hear from local people and organisations on:

  • Where ward boundaries should be?
  • Which areas you identify as your local community?
  • Where do people in your area go to access local facilities such as shops and leisure activities?

    2)Consultation on draft recommendations - currently underway and runs 5 March 2019 - 13 May 2019


    3)Publication of final recommendations - these are due for publication on 30 July 2019
