Barnet Health Champions are a network of people who live, work or study in the borough, who are passionate about the health and wellbeing of their community.
Initially set up in November 2020, as a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It began as a way to empower Barnet residents to stay up to date with the latest COVID-19 guidance. As well as enabling two-way communication between Barnet residents and Public Health. Now a team of 250 the Health Champion network has now broadened to encompass wider health topics, including mental health, cardiovascular disease prevention and childhood immunisations.
