Love Parks Week in Barnet
It's love parks week in Barnet and so we've been out speaking to the people who help keep our parks clean and tidy. From the workers who do a great job for the Council everyday to the groups of volunteers who go out and clean up their local environment. We all love our parks so let's pick it, bag it and bin it Barnet!
Rob and his colleagues are out and about cleaning our parks every day. The next time you see them, say hello and do them a favour by putting your rubbish in a bin and if it's full, take it home with you and put it in a bin there.
Sue and Nicky are a pair of scientists who are part of a litter picking group, the Dollis Brookers, They clean up the waterway and measure it regularly to see how the ecosysytem is responding to the environment, bumping into shrimp, little fish and possible the odd Kingfisher.
