The Barnet Public Health and the Resilient Schools Programme are proud to share ‘Generation Verified’: a film led by Barnet Young Voices.
We are extremely proud of what the young people have created. They have created a film which depicts the unique challenges this generation faces and explores how they cope.
It covers issues of navigating friendships and relationships in ‘real’ life versus the digital world; and the pressures of seeking perfection, popularity, and the desire for ‘likes’. With their lived experience at the heart of it, we believe that the young people have created a film which many young people will find relatable.
We believe sharing this film will lead to many opportunities for the issues it raises to be discussed with peers, carers and educators.
Generation Verified truly demonstrates the creative skills of young people and the power of co-production.
