Last week, we marked Great Big Green Week by running our own event, in partnership with Barnet Hospital and Cycle Confident, where we provided NHS staff with a free Dr Bike session Cllr Roberts brought his bike along too, to get it checked out by trained mechanics.

Hear from Gabor, OBGYN at Barnet Hospital, about why he cycles:

Barnet Council is committed to working together with local people, communities, and business across the borough, to become net zero carbon in Barnet by 2042, and for the council by 2030. To find out about the council’s cycling initiatives, and check for a Dr Bike session near you visit: Free Dr Bike sessions in Barnet | Barnet Council

Hear from Virginia, a mechanic from Cycle Confident:

We've also been out wtih the hard working teams that help keep our streets clean. Please help us improve the environment. If you’ve got rubbish in your car, or your pocket, take it home & dispose of it responsibly: don’t throw it in a hedge!

Also, if you see someone else dumping litter, please report it to us: barnet.gov.uk/reportit
